My Story

A Life of Seeing

I didn't know that I was destined to become a photographer, but I do know I've always been drawn to people, stories, and the beauty hidden in ordinary moments.

Long before I picked up a camera professionally, I spent decades as a nurse. I've welcomed new life into the world and held the hands of people taking their last breath. I've delivered joyful news and heartbreaking news. I've learned when words matter—and when quiet presence matters more.

Those experiences changed the way I see people.

Today, they shape everything I create.

Photography became more than a profession—it became my art.

Whether I'm photographing an entrepreneur, documenting a family's story, or kneeling in a garden waiting for the morning light to fall on a flower, I'm always searching for something authentic, something beautiful, something true.

Art reminds me to slow down. To pay attention. To notice what others might walk past.

That's the same perspective I bring to every collaboration.

The black/white picture is me (14-15 years old) with my mother's camera in our family business truck.

Both of my parents were entrepreneurs.

Beyond the Camera

I live in Fort Worth with my husband and our three rescue dogs.

I have more than 65 houseplants—and there's always room for one more.

I love growing flowers from seed almost as much as I love photographing them.

Popcorn is my favorite snack.

I've lived in eight states and Puerto Rico.

Some of my favorite nursing memories come from caring for people experiencing homelessness on beaches and in communities often overlooked.

I believe entrepreneurs deserve genuine community, not just networking.

I believe relationships create transformation.

I hope everyone who crosses my path leaves feeling seen.

Art has taught me that beauty is rarely loud. It asks us to slow down, notice,

and see what has been there all along.

This work continues to evolve through speaking, long-form documentary projects, creative collaborations, and

ongoing exploration through writing and conversation.

It is not static. It is lived.
